The What If Question?
You know life can be so uncertain at times. Eric & I have been married for 25 years this past August and life has certainly not been easy at all for us. Marriage is not always easy and decisions made within that marriage is certainly not easy at times. But we have to realize our decisions decide our destiny. About 14 years ago we were at a tough place in the road and what if I had decided to bail out. I could have very easily - we didn't have children then but somewhere deep inside me I knew GOD had put us together and no devil was gonna tear us apart. Now years later we have two beautiful children and God is so good and faithful to our family. The road has not been easy or a piece of cake by any means but over and over God has been so faithful to us. Remember as we go through life to be careful with the "WHAT IF" question.

DAWG DAYS
"DAWG DAYS" - I heard about this from Karen Yancey - a lady I heard speak a couple of years ago at a WM Pastor's Wife Dinner. She said she would take a "DAWG DAY" every now and then. "DAWG DAYS" stands for DAY ALONE WITH GOD. You know we all need that time when we shut out everything around us that is going on and go somewhere or get alone somewhere and spend time with him. We cannot exist in this world without spending time in his presence listening to him and what he is saying to us in our spirits. I truly believe we can see and hear God everyday in our lives if we just stop and listen. We get so busy sometimes that we just don't take the time to listen. God seems to speak to me in the simplest ways in everyday life. But DAY ALONE WITH GOD DAYS are times when we just get away from it all and focus on hearing from him on a matter or just to enjoy being with him. I love to take pictures as most that know me know. I have made up my mind that hopefull soon in the future I am going to take a day and go and take pics of things are beautiful in our surrounding area. God shows up in those things and can speak through them to us. So somewhere on your journey - take time - enjoy a "DAWG DAY". It changes things.
